I spend days researching my subject before I start working on a commission. I will feel and breathe every detail of a place so that I am completely immersed in the world I am creating.

REFLECTION
With my head brimming with new ideas, I let the knowledge settle. Little by little the important details rise to the surface and the story begins to form. All it takes is a peaceful place to pause and tune into another world.

Finally, I release my imagination and let it run free to explore the world I am creating. Like actors, each tiny sculpture has a part to play in the bigger narrative of my client’s story.
